Firm Bases for Bed Frames
Firm bases provide a solid platform to give the correct support for modern mattresses. They are suitable for all types of beds including antique and modern and are a superior alternative to bed slats. Firm bases normally come in depths from 2 inches (5cm) up to 6 inches (15cm), but we also supply shallow bases (3/4 inch or 18mm) and extra deep bases (up to 8 inches) on request. The depth is chosen to raise the mattress to your prefered height from the floor. A choice of fabrics coverings is available.
