This top quality hand-crafted mattress is manufactured to order in the UK to our own specifications using the highest quality materials. Lead times vary but are normally around 4 to 6 weeks from order. However this mattress can often be supplied much quicker if needed.

Mattress Specifications

The unique spring units of the Shelley mattress have alternate full depth springs and smaller cushioning springs with an air-gap between. This is designed to give a soft cushion for lighter weights, whilst providing the support needed for heavier loads. The result being that for two people with different weights, each is catered for, preventing roll together and ensuring each partner gets the support they need.

With a double layer of springs in every second row a much larger density of springs is possible, giving much higher spring count than comparable mattresses.

Layers of natural fibres such as 650gsm bonded pure white cotton, lambs wool and a comfort surface layer of pure white lambs wool.

Finished with a super soft cotton organic knitted cover and pure wool tufts.

The 25cm (10 inches) deep border has with two rows of genuine hand side stitching.

There are eight horizontal handles on king sizes and solid brass ventilators finished with piped ticking.

Zip and Link

This mattress has the option of being provided as two separate 90cm wide by 200cm long single mattresses, which are linked together with zips. This has the advantage of being separated for ease of turning.
