Covered in a choice of 6 luxury velvet covers, which can match a range of upholstered headboards.
- Non-sprung, so the overall comfort feel is entirely determined by the mattress.
- Available in two different depths as standard for the same price, 6 inches (15cm) and 8 inches (20cm)
- Various depths of natural beech legs with or without lockable castors achieve overall depths between 9 inches (23cm) and 17 inches (43cm)
- King size divan bases are made in two separate halves widthways for ease of transport and access into the room. Link bars join the two halves together.
- The top surface is perforated and the underside is covered in a woven material, to allow air to circulate under the mattress and to dissipate moisture.
All our divan bases are made to order and normally take around 2 weeks to be dispatched.
Divan Sizes
UK KING SIZE - 5ft wide x 6ft 6in long (or 150cm wide x 200cm long)
We provide divan bases sizes in Imperial sizes (feet and inches) as standard. However, we can provide in Metric (cm) if you request. Please ask if you need advice on which is best for you.
Divan Depths
To choose the depth you need for your bed think about how high you would like the mattress from the floor. With shallow divan bases you must choose both the depth of the divan and the depth of the leg to achieve the overall height. The depth of the base does not affect the support of the mattress, so a 6 inch deep base and an 8 inch deep divan base provide the same support.
Legs and Castors
Beech legs are available in three depths, 3 inches (8cm), 5 inches (13cm) and 7 inches (18cm), and are available with or without black lockable castors, which are 2 inches deep (5cm).
