A fine example of an antique brass and iron bed finished in cream with straight brass top rail and low foot board, adapted from an original bed circa 1895.
The main picture shows a bed we have recently sold, but we can restore a very similar bed in cream using the choice of the two bed frames shown here. These bed frames will be fully restored, removing all the old paint and any surface rust by shotblasting. All the damaged or missing brass will be repaired or replaced and we will repaint in cream, or in any colour you wish. All the brass will be polished and the finished bed will look very similar to MK293.
The finished bed will accept a UK King Size (5ft or 150cm wide) base and mattress set.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
