A cast iron antique bed, finished in black with arch design and decorative castings, some of which have faded gold lining highlighting the mouldings. Circa 1880.
This bed accepts a standard double size 4ft 6in wide (54 inch or 135cm) base and mattress.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
