A cast iron and brass antique bed, finished in cream with simple castings, straight top brass rails and brass knobs. Circa 1880.
The main picture shows a bed we recently sold, whereas the following pictures show an antique bed that has recently arrived from our restoration workshops. This bed will look very similar to the one shown in the main photograph when assembled, and you have the option of having the brass polished or left in the current aged condition.
The beds accept a double size 4ft 6in wide (54 inch or 135cm) base and mattress.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
