A late Victorian brass and iron double antique bed with straight brass top rails, spherical brass knobs and a gallery of rings and trumpets in the footboard finished in traditional black. The brass work on this bed shows signs of age both in the patina and the dents in their surfaces. We can improve these dents if required or replace the brass fittings with new ones if preferred. The brass can be polished if required.
This bed accepts a double size 4ft 6in wide (54 inch or 135cm) base and mattress.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
