A superb antique king size bed finished in black with brass decoration including a brass ring in the centre of the foot board, brass side drops and kneecaps, a row of brass finials on the top of the footboard and brass caps on the head panel. The brass has been recently polished but it will slowly fade and attain a more golden patina. it will dull further to give an aged look in time, or it can be buffed up occasionally to keep its sheen.
This bed accepts a UK King Size (5ft or 150cm wide) base and mattress set.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
