An attractive cast iron antique bed painted in white with decorative castings on the head and foot board.
This bed accepts a 3ft 6in wide (42in) base and mattress set.
There is an option to lengthen the bed to 6ft 6in (200cm) if you wish, which is often preferable for adults or growing teenagers. We can provide the longer bases and mattresses to fit. Please ask.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
You have the option here to select a Wide Single (3'6x6'3) Base. It can be Firm or Sprung, and covered in Black & White Ticking or Cream Damask. For a full range of base choices please see our Single Bed Base page.
