A cast iron antique bed in finished hand paint pewter grey with substantial side posts, attractive cast iron mouldings and straight brass top rails, adapted from an original bed circa 1900. The brass on this bed has been nickel plated to give a silver-like finish, which contrasts with the pewter grey paintwork.
The finished bed will accept a UK King Size (5ft or 150cm wide) base and mattress set.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
