A superb all brass Victorian bed with large brass fittings and central feature of a barley twist ring in the foot board, circa 1890. The brass has been lacquered, which means it will retain the polished look and will not require any maintenance.
This bed accepts either a 5'6 x 6'6 base and mattress set, which is an extra wide size common in Victorian times, or a 160x200cm base and mattress set, which is European King.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
We have included a Firm bed base in the price of this bed.
